Placing Your Order We request a 24-hour advance notice for next day delivery except where noted.  If you have any special needs that are outside our guidelines, please contact our event specialist at 303-288-0718.


Last Minute Orders We understand that occasionally things happen and we are here to work with you when possible.  Please understand we may not have every menu item available for you to choose from on late orders, but we will do our very best to accommodate.


Confirmation After your order has been placed, Nova Catering will confirm your selections via email, please review it thoroughly.  If corrections are required, please contact your event specialist to make the necessary adjustments.  A final order will be resent for your approval, which must be approved via email confirmation.


Cancellations There is a 50% charge for cancellations made by noon the day before your event.  After this time, we have already purchased the food and made staffing arrangements.  If cancellations are made within 24 hours of the event, the full invoice amount will still be due.  This also applies to weather-related instances.
Minimum Orders We require a minimum order on all deliveries of $150.00 food and beverage total.  Special arrangements can be made through your event specialist.
Delivery Charges Delivery charges are based on your location and billed in addition to the food and beverage.  The minimum delivery charge is $29.00 within our metro radius of 20 miles.  If a pick up is required, the fee is an additional $29.00.  Outside the 20 mile radius, additional charges will apply.
Staffing If you require service personnel, we will be happy to provide professional staff.  Staffing is billed hourly, portal-to-portal, with a four hour minimum.
Service Time You will receive a guaranteed service time.  This is the time your buffet will be ready for your guest’s enjoyment.  You will have a delivery window of 45 minutes to one hour allowing a minimum of 20 minutes set up to ensure your buffet is ready at the guaranteed service time.
Serviceware Nova Catering will provide high quality disposable plates, utensils, and cups for all buffets which come at no additional cost.  Should you require upgrades to china, flatware and glass, this can be arranged at an additional cost.
Pick Up The pick-up of buffet equipment will be scheduled the same day when possible (within business hours).  If a pick up is required past 5pm day of, an additional charge may be applied.  Arrangements for next day can be made when requested.  If a pick-up is required, the fee is an additional $29.00.  Outside the 20 mile radius, additional charges will apply.
Deposits A deposit of 50% will be required up front on all full-service events and orders exceeding $1,000.00 upon the approvals of the final contract. The card will be kept on file until final payment is complete.
Payment Payment for your order is due upon delivery or processed the day of delivery.  Corporate billing arrangements can be made.  We accept check, MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover.  If paying by check, a credit account may be set up allow time for the invoice to be processed through your accounting department.  Please discuss this ahead of time with your event specialist.
Service Charge Large social events requiring event planning, rentals and/or staffing, are subject to a service charge.  This fee is an industry standard and covers many factors including the extensive amount of time spent planning and organizing your event.  The service charge will be determined by the event specialist and does not include gratuity.
Gratuity At Nova Catering, tips are pooled and shared amongst the kitchen staff, service personnel and delivery drivers.  We like to allow our clients to determine the gratuity; however, we do reserve the right to apply a standard gratuity to all orders exceeding $500.00.  This amount will be determined by the event specialist or 18% of food and beverage charges.
